Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub at Mayuri Tech Park in Mangalagiri, established in collaboration with Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran.
The hub, designed to foster startups and young entrepreneurs through mentorship and resources, will function under a “hub and spoke” model with Amaravati as the main center and satellite facilities in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Anantapur, and another location. Naidu announced plans to extend innovation centers to all 175 assembly constituencies, creating an inclusive innovation ecosystem.
The launch coincided with a Guinness World Record, as the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society registered 1,67,321 innovations and startups in 24 hours, with representatives presenting the certificate to the CM.
CM Naidu inspected startup stalls, stressing that the hub will preserve the legacy of Ratan Tata, whose “philosophy of giving back” inspired its creation. Highlighting opportunities in agritech, education, healthcare, and defense, he urged youth to embrace entrepreneurship.
