On 10 February, 2026, Minister Sridhar Babu laid the foundation stones for several development projects across Hyderabad.

In Kapra’s Galileo Nagar, he launched works for a sports arena and a graveyard, estimated at Rs 22.80 crore. Additionally, six other projects, including stormwater drains, graveyard, and CC road works, worth Rs 19.36 crore, were inaugurated. In Uppal, he also laid the foundation for a new school building and an RO water treatment plant, with an estimated cost of Rs 2.10 crore. The Minister further launched bridge and pipeline works in Lingojiguda worth Rs 11.93 crore, and projects in Vanasthalipuram valued at Rs 6.56 crore. He also laid the foundation for the Hasthinapuram ward-1 circle office building works costing Rs 5.95 crore.

At Uppal’s Nalla Cheruvu, Minister Babu inspected the ongoing restoration and rejuvenation works carried out by HYDRAA. He also launched SNDP works worth Rs 34.99 crore, emphasizing the importance of fully protecting the lake.
