Gujarat’s Deputy Chief Minister, Harsh Sanghavi, presided over the e-Khatmuhurat (ground-breaking) ceremony for security and housing projects worth Rs 202.85 crore in Ahmedabad on 09 February, 2026.
The projects include a state-of-the-art ATS building at Chharodi, a police station at Bodakdev, and several police housing schemes. The total investment also covers dog kennels, training offices, and bungalows for SRP personnel. Key projects include a state-of-the-art ATS building at Chharodi for Rs 47.98 crore, a police station at Bodakdev for Rs 33.49 crore, police housing and PSI quarters at Amraiwadi Police Line for Rs 74.62 crore and at Kagdapith for Rs 39.68 crore.
The new facilities will enhance the capabilities of the ATS, ensuring Gujarat’s security remains strong for years to come.
