During a high-profile roadshow in Bengaluru, Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for ITE&C, Nara Lokesh, secured two significant investment proposals aimed at boosting the state's tech ecosystem.
The ANSR Group has signed an MoU with the state government to set up a GCC Innovation Campus in the Madhurawada IT cluster of Visakhapatnam. Meanwhile, the Sattva Group has announced its plan to develop a 30-acre Sattva Vantage Vizag Campus for mixed-use development, with an investment of Rs 1,500 crore.
The Minister shared that India’s first quantum computer would be installed in the upcoming Quantum Valley within the next six months. The ANSR campus is expected to generate 10,000 high-skilled work roles over five years, while the Sattva project aims to create over 25,000 direct employment opportunities.
The Lokesh highlighted Visakhapatnam’s transformation into India’s largest data city, with Google setting up its first and largest data centre outside the US. He also emphasizsd the state's push to attract top IT companies by offering land at subsidised rates to firms like TCS and Cognizant.
