Andhra University (AU) has launched the Career Planning and Development Centre (CPDC) to improve student employability and address concerns raised by recruiters about outdated infrastructure.
The CPDC will offer skill-building, career support, and jobreadiness training to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. Infrastructure improvements include the procurement of 350 new computers, repairs to hostel kitchens, and the construction of a new conference hall.
Additionally, AU plans to launch a C4i4 Lab and a food testing lab. The AU Health Centre has expanded its medical team and will soon receive additional equipment. Proposals worth Rs 170-crore has been submitted for new hostel facilities under the Purvodaya scheme.
