Azad Engineering, a precision engineering leader, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art 7,200 sq. mtrs. lean manufacturing facility at its Centre of Excellence & Innovation in Tunikibollaram, Hyderabad.

The facility is dedicated to fulfilling capacity commitments for Siemens Energy and marks a significant milestone in the decade-long partnership between the two companies. The inauguration was attended by Siemens Energy’s senior global leadership, reflecting the strategic importance of the collaboration. Azad’s partnership with Siemens began in 2012 with the manufacturing of rotating airfoils for SGT 400 machines. Over the years, it has grown into a comprehensive engagement involving the delivery of complex airfoils and critical machining components across Siemens Energy’s global operations.

Chairman and CEO Rakesh Chopdar emphasized the company’s continuous investment in advanced manufacturing techniques, equipment, and skills development to meet Siemens’ rigorous standards. The new facility showcases Azad’s commitment to lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and its evolving role as a trusted global partner in precision engineering.
