Netherland-based Blue Water Energy System (BWES)
has bagged an order
worth Rs.50 crore from Kochi Refineries Ltd (KRL) for supplying Single Point
Mooring (SPM) and allied systems for its project in the Puthuvypeen Island.

Pipeline: Bids for laying the 30-inch
onshore pipeline between STF and KRL pipeline corridor over a length of 10 km
including back-water crossing of about 4 km will be awarded by February
2006.
Storage tank farm: Mumbai based Geotech, which had been awarded the
Rs.40 crore contract, has commenced the construction work of STF for storage of
2,40,000 kilo liters of crude oil at Puthuivypeen Coast, site offices and other
facilities for the proposed project.
