Bajel Projects has announced a significant expansion of its galvanisation operations at the Ranjangaon facility in Maharashtra. The company plans to increase its galvanisation capacity from 40,500 tonne per annum (TPA) to 1,10,000 TPA by the end of FY27.
This nearly threefold expansion will be carried out in phases between Q4 FY26 and Q4 FY27. The total investment earmarked for this project is Rs 170 crore, to be financed through a combination of internal accruals and debt. The expansion comes as the facility currently operates at a high utilisation rate of 98 percent.
This announcement follows another recent development where Bajel secured a ‘mega’ order valued between Rs 300 crore and Rs 400 crore for a 400 kV transmission line project. The order is part of the TL04 transmission line package for the Siwani-Jind line under the REZ Phase IV transmission system in the Bikaner Complex. The 99 km line will be delivered under an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract over 18 months.
