The Odisha Construction Corporation has invited bids for the comprehensive construction of an in-stream storage structure (ISS) at Patharla across the River Indra/Sundar in Bolangir district.

The contract encompasses hydro-mechanical works, power connectivity, road access, and staff quarters. In addition, bidders are required to undertake survey, investigation, planning, detailed design, and cost estimation of all components. The scope of work also includes operation and maintenance for a period of five years or five flood seasons, whichever is longer, following successful commissioning.

The period of completion is 30 months, which incorporates the rainy season to ensure uninterrupted construction. Prospective bidders are expected to demonstrate technical competence, and experience in similar large-scale irrigation and flood management projects.

The closing date for submission of bids is 23 October, 2025.
