The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has invited bids for the selection of a solar power developer to establish a 110 MW (AC) grid-connected Solar PV power project in Uttar Pradesh under the captive mode.
The completion period is set at 18 months from the signing of the power purchase agreement (PPA). The plant will be designed to deliver reliable power to NCRTC’s operations, potentially including the regional rapid transit system (RRTS) network, thereby cutting operational costs and carbon footprint.
The project will deploy advanced solar PV technology to ensure high efficiency and optimum land use. The project is aimed at meeting NCRTC’s renewable energy requirements, reducing dependence on conventional sources, and aligning with national clean energy goals.
The last date to submit bids is 25 September, 2025.
