Black Rose Industries, Mumbai, and Koei Chemical Company, Tokyo, have commenced a feasibility study for a proposed joint manufacturing project focused on producing amine products in India.
Under this collaboration, Black Rose will establish production facilities utilising proprietary technology and know-how provided by Koei Chemical. Once the feasibility is confirmed, the two companies intend to formalize their agreement and move forward with the construction and installation of the manufacturing plant. The project represents a strategic move for Black Rose to deepen its footprint in specialty chemicals, transitioning from distribution to manufacturing through global partnerships.
Anup Jatia, Chairman of Black Rose, emphasised that this initiative exemplifies how the company transforms distribution ties into strong, technology-led manufacturing collaborations. Ray Nishimoto, President of Koei Chemical highlighted the importance of this collaboration for Koei’s global strategy.
