Bondada E&E has been awarded a Rs 63.86 crore contract by the Department of Panchayati Raj, Government of Bihar, for the implementation of Phase-IV of the Mukhyamantri Gramin Solar Street Light Yojana.
The project aims to enhance rural infrastructure and promote renewable energy usage across multiple districts. Under this phase, the company will install 9,150 solar street lights in Bhojpur district, 7,850 in Gopalganj district, and 3,510 in Rohtas district, ensuring improved lighting, safety, and sustainability in rural areas. The initiative supports Bihar’s broader vision of promoting green energy solutions and improving public amenities in remote regions.
Bondada E&E’s scope includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar street lighting systems, along with maintenance and monitoring services. The project is expected to significantly reduce energy costs and carbon emissions while fostering rural development and nighttime mobility.
