The fourth part of the Burari flyover project on Outer Ring Road of Delhi has been inaugurated. The 20 km long Vikaspuri-Wazirabad elevated corridor will be completed by March 2016.
The Burari flyover will decongest traffic and result in saving commuting time and fuel. About 1.80 lakh vehicles use the stretch daily.
The flyover has been built at a cost of Rs 42 crore against a sanctioned budget of Rs 57 crore. The portions of the elevated road that have been made operational already have also been built at a cost lesser than the sanctioned cost, saving the government about Rs 300 crore in the process.
