Choice Consultancy Services (Choice), subsidiary of Choice International has won a project for the development of a solar plant for Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JDVVNL).

The firm will execute the project in a joint venture (JV) partnership with Solar91 Cleantech, wherein the two entities will undertake comprehensive tasks including detailed site surveys, supervision of design, supply, and installation of the solar power plant. Furthermore, the scope covers overseeing the installation of associated 33 kV or 11kV lines, conducting testing and commissioning activities, and managing the construction of control rooms.

The project is expected to entail a capex of Rs 152 crore.  Aligned with the PM-Kusum Yojana - Component C 2, the initiative entails setting up a 34.72 MW (AC) solar plant during an implementation period of 12 months, with 25 years of operation and maintenance.
