Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated development projects worth Rs 73 crore and laid the foundation stone for additional initiatives valued at Rs 362.45 crore in Surat, presenting a comprehensive Rs 435.45 crore development package aimed at improving public infrastructure and urban living.
He also met with sanitation workers, acknowledging their crucial role in achieving the city’s 'Swachh Surat' recognition under the Super Swachh League. In a significant educational initiative, robotics labs have been launched in 18 Suman Schools to promote AI-based learning. The development event, held at the Sanjeev Kumar Auditorium in Adajan-Pal, was attended by Union Minister of Jal Shakti CR Patil, Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, Minister of State Harsh Sanghavi, and Forest Minister Mukesh Patel.
CM Patel highlighted Surat’s urban transformation over the past two decades and reiterated the government’s commitment to improving the Ease of Living index through sustainable and citizen-centric urban projects.
