The foundation stone for the upcoming CEL-ESDS Green Data Center in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad will be laid at the Central Electronics (CEL) office in Sahibabad Industrial Area during a ceremony today. The initiative is a joint effort between CEL and ESDS Software Solution. 

Planned as a Tier-3 certified green facility, the data centre will uphold high standards in sustainability, energy efficiency, and advanced digital capabilities. Aligned with the Government of India’s Digital India and Green India missions, it will play a pivotal role in enhancing digital governance, fostering innovation, and generating employment in the region. 

The centre will feature a 30 MW capacity, high-density server racks spread across three floors, and a 40 Gbps ring fiber backbone supported by multiple internet service providers. It will incorporate multi-layered security systems and advanced monitoring technologies to ensure the integrity and safety of critical data. Once operational, the CEL-ESDS Green Data Center will serve as a cornerstone of Uttar Pradesh’s digital infrastructure, making the state a competitive force in India’s expanding digital economy.
