Chief Minister Eknath Shinde intends to sign MoUs worth Rs. 1.4 lakh crore in Maharashtra on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
There are currently 21 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in works with leading foreign investors and global corporations.
The investments are expected to generate more than 66,500 jobs over the next few years, embark Maharashtra's ambitious USD 1-trillion economy goal journey.
The project will involve majority of greenfield projects in data centres, pharmaceuticals, logistics, chemicals, automobiles, electric vehicles, renewable energy, and Electronics System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM).
Maharashtra has also signed a three-year platform partnership with the World Economic Forum.
