Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) has
invited international competitive bids for a turnkey package for the 2 X 250 MW,

sources. The project is estimated to cost Rs.1,500 crore.
The scope of the work for which the tender
has been floated include, design, engineering, manufacture, inspection and
testing at supplier’s works, packing, forwarding, insurance, unloading, site
handling, erection, supervision, civil and structural works, commissioning,
completion of facilities and handing over 2 units of coal based thermal power
plant each of 250 MW capacity along with associated auxiliaries.
