Power Mech Projects has bagged a large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) order worth over Rs 2,500 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL).
The order pertains to the Balance of Plant (BoP) package for the 1x800 MW Singareni Super Thermal Power Project (Stage II) located in Mancherial, Telangana. The scope of the contract includes design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, supply, and site management, along with civil works, construction, commissioning, trial runs, and maintenance. It also covers training, warranty, and provision of consumables, spares, and tools.
The works are to be executed in full compliance with the standards approved by Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL). The execution timeline for the project is set at 38 months from the commencement date. This significant order reinforces Power Mech’s position in the power infrastructure sector and strengthens its long-standing relationship with BHEL.
