Mumbai International Airport (MIAL) has drawn a plan for setting up a
dedicated cargo complex at the Mumbai Airport. The plan is likely to be
finalised in the next two to three months.
The proposed complex is expected to have one-million tonne capacity and be
constructed in and around the existing cargo complex. The separate cargo complex
is needed to cater to all types of cargo such as pharmaceuticals, perishable
cargo, among others.
