Ceigall India has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for a grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project with battery energy storage systems (BESS) at Morena Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh.
The tariff-based competitive auction, conducted online on September 19, 2025, saw Ceigall quoting a tariff of Rs 2.70 per kWh. The company secured 220 MW capacity out of the total 440 MW project invited by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar. The project includes both solar power generation and BESS components, aimed at enhancing grid stability and renewable energy integration.
Construction is slated for completion within 24 months, with an operational period of 25 years. This milestone reinforces Ceigall India’s growing footprint in renewable energy infrastructure, contributing to India’s clean energy goals and sustainable development.
