Changi Airports International (CAI),
the owner-operator of Singapore's Changi airport, is planning a tie-up with an
Indian real estate and infrastructure development company to form a joint
venture company for participating in the modernisation of Chennai and Kolkata
airports and other greenfield and non-metro airports in India.
The discussion of both the companies
is expected to be finalised by early-January 2007. The local partner will have a
majority stake in the joint venture.
