Chhattisgarh government received fresh investment proposals amounting to Rs 1.25 lakh crore at the recently held ‘Industry Dialogue 2’ in Raipur on 01 July, 2025. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who attended the event, said the investor enthusiasm reflects Chhattisgarh’s growing significance in India’s industrial and economic landscape.
The new investment proposals span diverse sectors beyond the state’s traditional mining strengths. These include Information Technology, semiconductors, healthcare, green energy, and logistics, signaling a broadening of the state's industrial base.
“Regions like Bastar, once focused on security challenges, are now transforming into hubs of industry, technology, and employment. This progress aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Developed India’,” the CM stated. He emphasised the government’s focused efforts to integrate underdeveloped regions like Bastar into mainstream development and industrial growth, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to inclusive, innovation-driven progress.
