Infosys has firmed up plans to develop an IT park at Sector 85, Noida in Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The software park will span over an area of 27.5 acre with eight blocks, comprising a research and development (R&D), and software development centre, besides special economic zone (SEZ) components.
The project worth Rs 1,400 crore will be implemented in a phased manner. The company will build 2.7 million sq ft facility which will accommodate a total of 5,000 people.
The land for the project was acquired in August 2014. In August 2015 the Board of Approval (BoA) on Special Economic Zone granted approval for the project.
With the latest development mapped by Projects Today, Infosys was under the process of finalising the civil contractor. RSP Design Consultants (India) was appointed as architect for the project. The company expects to begin work on the project by May 2019, and completion is scheduled in May 2021
