The Kerala Government is likely to rope in global consultants for the Phase
II development of the Rs 2,500-crore Kochi InfoPark.
The consultants are to be appointed for taking up engineering, architecture
and consulting work and implementing the Phase II master plan. Work on this
phase is likely to commence by May 2010. Around eight million sq ft of built in
space is expected to be developed in 160 acre as part of the proposed
development.
So far, acquisition of 53 acre for development has been completed and the
remaining acquisition is to be completed soon.
