Dilip Buildcon’s joint venture, DBL-STL has won an advance work order (AWO) for the Bharat Net Phase-III broadband connectivity project, funded by the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF).
Valued at Rs 2,631.14 crore, the order involves the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of a middle-mile network to provide broadband connectivity in the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh regions. Under this contract, DBL will execute 70.23 percent of the work.
The execution timeline includes three years for construction and an additional 10-year maintenance contract to ensure the seamless operation of the network.
The Bharat Net Phase-III initiative aims to enhance digital connectivity in remote and underserved regions. This development will strengthen connectivity for citizens, businesses, and government services in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
