1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

DMRC invites bids for Delhi metro phase-III project

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has invited bids for Delhi metro phase-III project under Contract CC-47.


The bids have been invited for part design and construction of elevated viaduct from Mundka to Tikri border (Ch 16397.128 to 22703.647) siding at Tikri Border and four elevated stations viz. MIA, Ghevra, Tikri Kalan & Tikri Border including architectural finishing, water supply, sanitary installation, drainage and civil works related to E&M of Mundka-Bahadurgarh corridor of Phase-III of Delhi MRTS. The work estimated to cost around Rs 261 crore is expected to complete within 27 months.


DMRC is intending to develop 11.181 km long entirely elevated corridor between Mundka and Bahadurgarh with seven stations (four in Delhi and three in Haryana). It will be an extension of the presently operational Inderlok – Mundka corridor (Line 5) and will run on standard gauge. The project estimated to cost Rs 1,991 crore (for Delhi portion Rs 1,079 crore and for Haryana portion Rs 912 crore) is expected to be commissioned by March 2016.
