1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Dadri CFS inaugurated

Star Track Terminals, a container freight station (CFS) jointly developed by Maersk India and railway PSU Container Corporation of India (Concor) within the inland container depot complex at Dadri in Greater Noida, commenced operations as a common user facility.

The CFS was inaugurated on 16 October 2004. The CFS is located on 45,000 sq. metres of land inside the Dadri complex with a capacity to accommodate 75,000 to 1,25,000 twenty-foot equivalent units per annum in the first stage. As per the joint venture agreement, Star Track Terminals has right to develop a further 20,000 sq. metres of land and expand the CFS which will increase the total capacity to 150,000 TEUs.

This is the first of the three JV set up by Concor with private container shipping lines for developing a CFS at its Dadri ICD complex. The other JV CFS being developed with the Transworld Group and American President Lines (APL) are expected to commence operations in 2005.
