During the closing ceremony of the International Kullu Dasehra Festival, Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri announced major infrastructure investments for Kullu district.
Addressing the gathering at Atal Sadan, Deputy CM Agnihotri declared Rs 200 crore for improving drinking water facilities to ensure residents have access to clean and continuous water supply. Additionally, Rs 158 crore has been allocated towards disaster mitigation initiatives, including flood protection.
The Deputy CM also highlighted the success of completed flood-control projects, such as Rs 8.73 crore at Raison, Rs 8.65 crore in Manali, and Rs 4.35 crore near Lanka Bekar Gaushala. He assured the public that the remaining Rs 58 crore will be spent on similar protective works across the district.
