Water Resources Department (WRD) Maharashtra has floated a tender for the creation of a comprehensive water grid system in Trimbakeshwar, Taluka Trimbakeshwar, District Nashik.
The scope of work includes the design with a quality assurance plan, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of five submerged centrifugal pumps (655 HP each), vertically mounted with motors, along with all allied equipment. Valued at Rs 21.10 crore, the project aims to completely fill decentralised water bodies and maintain consistent flow in the Godavari River.
This initiative is expected to support regional irrigation and water sustainability efforts, and the use of highcapacity pumps further underscores the project's focus on durability and efficiency.
Interested parties must submit their bids before the closing date of 20 October, 2025.
