Dilip Buildcon, through its joint venture DBL-APMPL (DBL holding 74 percent and APMPL 26 percent), has secured a letter of acceptance (LoA) for the development of a 100 MW grid-connected, ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power project.
The project is to be developed under the captive mode to supply power to Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam (MPJNM) for a period of 25 years from the date of commissioning. Located in Ramnagar and Dhanwada villages in Suwasra tehsil of Mandsaur district, Madhya Pradesh, the project will span approx. 315 acres of land provided by MPJNM. The construction period for the project is set at 24 months.
Power will be supplied at a fixed rate of Rs 2.09 per unit using non-DCR (domestic content requirement) solar panels. This domestic order marks a significant move in sustainable infrastructure development and energy cost efficiency for government utilities.
