Engineers India has invited bids for the execution of the bio aviation turbine fuel (Bio-ATF) project at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL).
The contract involves mechanical works related to the production of Bio-ATF, which is a sustainable aviation fuel designed to reduce carbon emissions in the aviation sector. The scope of the project includes the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of various mechanical systems required for the production process. MRPL, known for its role in refining and petrochemical production, aims to diversify into the green energy sector by producing Bio-ATF, aligning with global sustainability goals. The project is part of India’s push to meet carbon reduction targets and promote eco-friendly aviation fuel alternatives.
The closing date for submitting bids is 05 February, 2026.
