Envision Energy India has secured a 501.6 MW order from Evren for the supply of approx. 152 EN 156/3.3 MW smart wind turbines.
These turbines, equipped with a 156-mtrs. rotor and a 140-mtrs. hub height, will be installed in Andhra Pradesh to power Evren’s upcoming renewable energy projects. The deal marks a significant milestone for Envision, reinforcing its position in India’s clean energy sector. Backed by Brookfield Global Transition Fund, Evren aims to develop over 10 GW of renewable energy assets across India, spanning solar, wind, and battery storage, particularly in states like Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
Envision’s turbine platform, already proven in markets such as MENA, Southeast Asia, and China, contributes to 2.5 GW of operational capacity in India. The EN 156/3.3 MW turbines are designed to enhance Annual Energy Production (AEP) while offering one of the lowest levelised costs of energy (LCoE), supporting India’s drive toward large-scale industrial decarbonisation.
