Ethos Resources intends to set up a grain-based ethanol plant with a capacity of 250 klpd at Ghala village in Kamrej, Surat district of Gujarat.
The built-up area of the new facility is 28.91 acres and will also involve setting up a co-generation power plant with a capacity of 4.8 MW.
According to the updates shared with Projects Today, work on the project is expected to begin by November, 2023.
Currently, Ethos Resources is awaiting terms of reference (ToR) for the project, and the financial closure is underway.
