Maharashtra State Road Development
Corporation (MSRDC) has completed work on its flyover at the BARC junction on
the Sion-Panvel Highway in Mumbai. The construction of this flyover of 707m in
length and 11m in width was completed one month ahead of schedule at an outlay
of Rs.10.6 crore. This flyover would be dedicated to the public on 11 August
2000.
Meanwhile, two large projects on
which MSRDC has commenced work include upgradation of the 700 km Mumbai-Nagpur highway
to National Highway standard and the Worli-Bandra sealink project involving an
outlay of Rs.650 crore.
