Kerala Industries Minister P Rajeev laid the foundation stone for RCC Nutrafill’s Food Processing and Life Sciences Manufacturing Facility at Angamaly, marking the state’s first integrated manufacturing and processing hub.
The project, featuring cold storage, warehousing, R&D, logistics, and handling of FMCG and life sciences products, carries an investment of Rs 100 crore. Spread across five acres, the hub’s first phase is slated for completion in 24 months, with the potential to create 500 direct and indirect employment in two phases. Minister Rajeev emphasised the state’s commitment to innovation-driven industrial growth, assuring government support for the facility to emerge as a benchmark in sustainable and quality manufacturing.
RCC Nutrafill Director Sai Devarajulu Prasad highlighted the project’s role in boosting Kerala’s food processing and life sciences sector while promoting local employment, skill development, and sustainable industry practices. The initiative is expected to strengthen the region’s position as a center for advanced manufacturing and economic growth.
