1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

GAIL awards contracts worth Rs 10,500 cr for Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra Pipeline project

In a major boost to the Urja Ganga Gas Pipeline project, GAIL (India) has completed awarding all major contracts worth Rs 10,500 crore for pipe supply and laying for the integrated 3,400 km long project.

The move will see a momentum for construction of Jagdishpur-Haldia and Bokaro-Dhamra Natural Gas Pipeline (JHBDPL) and Barauni-Guwahati Pipeline (BGPL) pipeline projects.

The company has placed an order worth Rs 475 crore for steel line pipes of approximately 280 km to provide pipeline connectivity from Durgapur to Haldia including spur line to Kolkata in West Bengal.

Till date, the company has committed investment over Rs 12,500 crore for the project.

The pipeline has already reached Barauni, and GAIL is ready for supplying gas to refinery and upcoming fertilizer plant. The pipeline also supplies natural gas for Patna City Gas Distribution network (CGD).

The work for the remaining portion is going on in full swing and scheduled to be completed by December 2021 in a phased manner. The construction work of Dobhi-Durgapur Pipeline section is expected to be completed by December 2019 for supplying gas to Matix Fertilizers, Durgapur, West Bengal.

The company is currently executing around 5,500 km pipeline-related projects worth Rs 25,000 crore to provide gas supply to areas of Eastern and Southern parts of the country.

Apart from this, another 1,400 km pipeline project involving a capital expenditure of Rs 7,000 crore is under evaluation which is targeted to be completed by 2023.
