Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao inspected the ongoing white-topping works on Dr. Rajkumar Road in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru on 29 October, 2025.
	
	Chief Commissioner emphasised the need for rapid progress, especially in the installation of drinking water and underground drainage pipelines by the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). He also instructed officials to expedite the laying of a 1,000-mm stormwater pipeline to ensure proper drainage. Rao set a 15-day deadline to complete ongoing works before starting the white-topping process.
	
	The roadwork spans 700 mtrs. from Navarang Theatre to 10th Cross Junction, falling under the Bengaluru West City Corporation (BWCC) limits. With traffic restricted on one side of the road, he urged officials to ensure smooth vehicular movement, adhering to strict traffic management and safety measures to avoid congestion and ensure public safety. Senior BWCC officials were present during the inspection.
