GK Energy, a leading player in solar pump EPC execution across India, has announced its strategic expansion into the retail solar rooftop system (RTS) EPC segment.
This marks a shift from being a product-focused solar pump provider to a holistic solar EPC enterprise. The move is part of the company’s long-term diversification strategy to build a multi-segment, scalable solar infrastructure business. The expansion aligns with the Union Budget’s enhanced renewable energy allocation for the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which increased from Rs 17,000 crore to Rs 22,000 crore. This policy boost is expected to accelerate rooftop solar adoption across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
The RTS segment will help GK Energy improve working capital efficiency, enhance cash flow stability, ensuring a steady revenue pipeline. As the company shifts to RTS, it aims to strengthen its financial liquidity and create recurring revenue, complementing its existing EPC portfolio.
