Ganesh Infraworld will commence two water and sewerage treatment (STP) projects in Jammu & Kashmir from December 2025, according to Managing Director Vibhoar Agrawal.
These projects, valued at Rs 105.77 crore, are part of the government’s initiative to upgrade water management and sewage infrastructure in the rapidly urbanising Srinagar–Budgam region, which faces rising pollution in its water bodies. The projects include the design, construction, and five years of operation and maintenance (O&M) of modern sewage treatment plants along the DoodhGanga Nallah. One treatment facility will cover the Baghi-Mehtab to Allochi Bagh stretch, worth Rs 44.07 crore, while the other will be between Chadoora and Baghi-Mehtab, valued at Rs 61.70 crore.
The MD highlighted challenges due to the region’s difficult terrain and climate but stressed the importance of these projects for ecological restoration and addressing wastewater management issues. Ganesh Infraworld specialises in civil, electrical, road, rail, and water infrastructure sectors.
