Clean energy solutions provider Gentari has announced the integration of Amplus Solar, its Commercial & Industrial (C&I)-focused platform, into the Gentari brand, marking a significant step in consolidating its renewable energy (RE) operations in India. The move signifies Gentari’s commitment to creating a unified brand identity and streamlining its strategy for delivering clean energy solutions across the country.

Amplus Solar has been part of the Gentari Group since 2023, playing a pivotal role in expanding the Group’s renewables portfolio. This integration brings together Amplus Solar’s specialised expertise in the C&I energy space with Gentari’s broader ambitions in utility-scale renewables. Operating under a single brand is expected to enhance operational alignment and enable the company to offer scalable, cohesive clean energy solutions across both distributed and utility-scale segments.

Commenting on the development, Chief Executive Officer of Gentari, Sushil Purohit said, “This rebrand represents more than just a name change - it marks the next phase of Gentari's integrated strategy for India as one of our key markets. By bringing together our capabilities in C&I and utility-scale renewables under one roof, we are strengthening our foundation to deliver greater value to our customers. Under a united Gentari brand, we intend to take a more unified and impactful approach in accelerating energy transition in India.” To support this strategic shift, Sharad Pungalia has been appointed as the Gentari Head of India.

The rebranding initiative underlines Gentari’s intent to deepen its presence in India, one of its key markets, by leveraging the combined strengths of its teams and infrastructure.
