Juniper Green Energy, a subsidiary of Singapore-based AT Capital Group, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Tata Power for a 70 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project.
To be developed in Maharashtra, the project will combine solar, wind, and a 280 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) with a renewable capacity of 180 MWp. Power supply from the project is expected to commence on 22 September, 2027. This collaboration highlights Juniper Green’s growing footprint in India’s renewable sector, following a recent 250 MW FDRE PPA signed with NHPC for Haryana.
With a total operational capacity of around 1.45 GWp across solar, wind, and hybrid projects as of June 2025, Juniper Green aims to support India’s sustainable energy goals through reliable power solutions.
