Globus Spirits plans to establish a 300 klpd ethanol plant at Jhamujhara in Odisha's Dhenkanal district. A cogeneration power plant of 8 MW will also be set up to meet the power requirements.
According to information shared with Projects Today, Globus Spirits was seeking environmental clearance and consent to establish (CTE) for the project.
Work on the project was set to begin in March 2023.
