In its 141st board meeting, the Greater Noida Authority has approved key mobility upgrades, finalising plans for the multimodal transport hub (MMTH), and multimodal logistics hub (MMLH), both now integrated into the Greater Noida Master Plan 2041.
A 1.8 km elevated Metro corridor will connect the Greater Noida Depot to MMTH, improving last-mile connectivity, while a new railway line will link MMLH to the Dedicated Freight Corridor near New Dadri station, facilitating direct freight movement between Mumbai and Kolkata.
Greater Noida CEO Ravi Kumar NG highlighted that these projects, along with the Integrated Industrial Township, are crucial for enhancing industrial transportation. He stated, “This has paved the way for connecting the multimodal transport hub with the metro line and the multimodal logistics hub with the railway line.”
