HG Infra Engineering, in a joint venture with Kalpataru Projects International has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL).
The scope of work encompasses the design and construction of the elevated Metro viaduct for the Thane Integral Ring Metro Project. It includes a 20.527 km-long viaduct between UG Ramp and Balkum Naka, with a depot approach viaduct and three special spans. The construction is scheduled to be completed within 36 months, with a bid cost of Rs 1,415 crore.
HGINFRA holds a 40 percent stake, while Kalpataru Projects controls 60 percent in the JV.
