GreenH Electrolysis plans to set up a PEM electrolyser manufacturing plant with a capacity of one GW in India.
The facility will spread over an area of 97,000 sq. ft. at Reliance MET Industrial Park in Jhajjar, Haryana. Operations will commence by October, 2023, and will enable further scope for ramp-up.
The project envisages an initial capacity of 100 MW, with two phases, with 500 MW capacity in the first and another 500 MW in phase-II, for which additional land will be bought. The plant will cater to the demand for hydrogen technology-based electrolysers, to its Indian customers in the commercial and industrial sectors.
GreenH Electrolysis is a joint venture company between Spain-based H2B2 Electrolysis Technologies and GR Promoter Group of India. With the backing of H2B2 and GR Group’s experience, the company will thus enhance India’s hydrogen production capabilities.
