Time Technoplast, Poppe + Potthoff, and Imperial Auto Industries have formed a strategic partnership to advance hydrogen systems across India, a key step in the country’s clean-energy transition.
The collaboration combines expertise in energy storage, advanced polymer technologies, precision engineering, and fluid-transmission solutions, marking a major step in India's clean energy transition. Time Technoplast will contribute with its high-pressure Type-IV composite cylinders for hydrogen storage and transportation, manufactured under its "Made in India" platform. Poppe + Potthoff brings world-class precision engineering and high-pressure test benches, including its innovative TOPAQ® system. Imperial Auto adds expertise in designing fluid-conveyance assemblies for automotive and industrial OEMs.
The partnership aims to strengthen India’s hydrogen infrastructure, covering storage, distribution, and end-use applications. It is designed to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen as a clean energy source, drive local innovation, and create skilled roles, all while supporting India’s sustainability and decarbonization goals. "Together, we aim to deliver reliable, scalable, and future-ready hydrogen technologies," the companies said in a joint statement.
