NTPC has invited bids for the development of a 132 kV GIS substation for the NGEL Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka, Andhra Pradesh.
The turnkey basis contract, which along with an 80 MVA, 132/33 kV power transformer, 33 kV HT switchgear, and 415 V LT switchgear, involves design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the substation, along with five years of operation and maintenance (O&M). Additionally, the project will incorporate firefighting facilities, gas detection, and ventilation systems for safety. The completion of all facilities, including the commissioning of the GIS, power transformers, and switchgear, is expected within one year from the placement of the award.
The bid submission closing date is set for 06 January, 2026.
