H&H Aluminium, a prominent solar panel frame manufacturer, inaugurated its new state-of-the-art plant in Rajkot, Gujarat on 04 July, 2025. With an investment of Rs 150 crore, the facility is expected to be India’s largest solar panel frame manufacturing unit, boasting a capacity of 24,000 tonne per annum.
Spanning 28,000 sq. ft., the plant will provide employment to over 300 people and, once operating at full capacity, is projected to generate Rs 700–750 crore in annual sales. It has the potential to support up to 6 GW of solar installations across India. Union Minister of Jal Shakti, CR Patil, inaugurated the plant. Trial production began in June 2025, with commercial production set to begin within a month.
H&H Aluminium Director Uttam Patel highlighted how the government’s 14 percent anti-dumping duty on imported anodised aluminium frames (USD 403–577/MT) is a game changer for domestic manufacturers. “The anti-dumping duty will bolster the growth of indigenous companies in the solar power and allied sectors,” he stated. While the aluminium will be sourced domestically, machinery has been imported from China. The company plans to expand its footprint globally after meeting domestic demand.
