The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has announced plans to upgrade a four-km stretch of Pataudi Road, from Umang Bhardwaj Chowk to Global City, a vital access point for the upcoming Global City project near the Dwarka Expressway.

The road, currently plagued by sewage overflows, waterlogging, and potholes, will undergo significant reconstruction over the next 15 months. HSIIDC plans to expand and improve the road, relaying both sewage and surface drains to meet high-quality standards.

The road is crucial for connectivity to Global City, a mixed-use development spread across over 1,000 acres, set to include commercial, residential, and recreational spaces. Additionally, an alternative road connecting Wazirpur to the Dwarka Expressway, with two flyovers, is expected to be functional soon.
